Kakistocracy is a form of government run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens, often leading to incompetence, corruption, and mismanagement.
It’s essentially rule by the unfit.
It’s not a new word (coined in 1644), but it very succinctly describes our current government and the MAGA administration, as they haplessly hurtle us towards another round of fascism.
