At least the indoor mask mandates are still in effect.<\/p>\n<p>But we do have a shutdown this week: The <a href=\"https:\/\/wandelwerk.koeln\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WandelWerk<\/a> is finally closing to the public.<\/p>\n<p>When the two car dealerships, Yvel and Levy, joined forces again a couple of years ago and moved to a new location in Cologne, the city offered the former Yvel dealership on Liebigstrasse to <a href=\"https:\/\/klugev.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KLuG e.V.<\/a> for interim use, as an open space for social and cultural encounters.<\/p>\n<p>It was a great time, and the idea will live on, in the Quartiersb\u00fcro, Liebigstrasse 257.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/chfrank.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_20211017_124944_edited.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"IMG_20211017_124944_edited\" src=\"https:\/\/chfrank.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_20211017_124944_edited_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20211017_124944_edited\" width=\"750\" height=\"378\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(WandelWerk, Cologne, 10\/17\/21)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The incidence in Cologne has declined further; it&#8217;s at 57 right now.
