{"id":101,"date":"2018-11-03T19:14:36","date_gmt":"2018-11-03T23:14:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chfrank.net\/wordpress\/?p=101"},"modified":"2018-11-03T19:17:20","modified_gmt":"2018-11-03T23:17:20","slug":"new-dietician","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chfrank.net\/wordpress\/2018\/11\/03\/new-dietician\/","title":{"rendered":"New Dietician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A couple of weeks ago I started a medically supervised diet of the low-carb variety, or least that was what I thought.<\/p>\n<p>The initial diet protocol looked to me like a slightly modified Keto or New-Atkins plan, however, I got a little bit suspicious when I found out about the added (costly) Ozone therapy and (even more costly) daily injections; after I felt really ill for a couple of days I started to research on Google &#8211; definitely something I should have done earlier.<\/p>\n<p>It turned out that the good doctor was using the highly controversial hCG diet protocol, as documented on <a href=\"https:\/\/hcgdietinfo.com\/guide-to-the-hcg-diet-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hcgdietinfo.com<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hcg-diaet.com\/hcg-diaetplan-ernaehrungsplan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hCG-Diet<\/a> respectively, without telling me; and I really don&#8217;t want to know what the injections were &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say that we parted ways immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily for me I found a respected Keto practitioner nearby, so I will be able to continue.<\/p>\n<p>Lesson learned:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don&#8217;t ever skimp on background checks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A couple of weeks ago I started a medically supervised diet of the low-carb variety, or least that was what I thought.
